What to Expect:

Dress:

At UCCW, we wear jeans and sneakers; ties and dresses; shorts and t-shirts;
come as you are!

Music:

Modern & traditional hymns and songs with guitar and piano

Children:

Babies and children of all ages are welcome to remain for the entire service, and a nursery is provided for children under 1st grade age for those who wish to utilize it. Children in the nursery are brought into the worship service to participate in the special Children's Time message during the service. The worship service can be heard through speakers in the nursery if you need to attend to your child during the service. Children's activity sheets and crayons are provided for use during the service.

Open Prayer and Sharing:

We share our celebrations and concerns openly in a non-threatening, informal atmosphere.

Scripture Readings:

We read and explore the Bible, seeking to apply it to our lives.

Sermon:

Storytelling, interactive, multimedia, relaxed, relevant to today.

Participation:

All are encouraged and welcome to participate in worship, regardless of your faith background or age. Some of us value silence and contemplative prayer; others raise and clap hands during worship. We like to laugh, cry, celebrate, and grow as the Spirit moves.
